Mr. Thompson strongly believes that Georgia Tech Cooperative Education students have the unique opportunity to benefit from a program that will not only enhance their academic training, but will give them practical work experience in their chosen field of study, because as participants in the co-op program, they are given the opportunity to research a large number of corporate employers as well as government agencies who are seeking Cooperative Education students. In addition to working for more than two decades in higher education, Mr. Thompson has also served as a manager of corporate college relations and recruiting for a large Southeastern financial services corporation, where he had responsibility for interviewing numerous students in search of career opportunities. He looks forward to the continued chance to help Georgia Tech students become successful in their search for co-op positions that could lead to fulfilling careers.
