Rob Rogers joined the Georgia Tech Division of Professional Practice in 2003, after three years with the Drexel University Cooperative Education Program – the largest mandatory cooperative education program in the United States – where he was advisor to more than 500 students, working at companies throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States. |

Mr. Rogers received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University . Rob has been very active in the Southeastern Regional Cooperative Education Conference, and other professional activities. In his opinion, Co-oping is an excellent way for a student to apply the classroom theory he or she reads about and studies to real-world in a career environment. He also feels that the primary keys to success in within the co-op program are utilizing all resources provided to the student, being persistent, being proactive and working closely – and maintaining strong two-way communications – with one’s co-op advisor. Undergraduate co-op students majoring in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Economics, History, Technology & Society, Industrial Engineering, International Affairs & Modern Languages, Management, Materials Science & Engineering, Physics, Polymer, Textile & Fiber Engineering, and Science, Technology & Culture are assigned to Mr. Rogers.
